A doctor came over to them and asked to see Allie and Jake and Hilary. "What's up doc?" asked Allie. "It's about StephIm afraid she'sshe wont make it till next week." Said the doctor. "What?" whispered Allie, tears filling in her eyes she kept trying to keep them in. "Will she make it till her birthday?" asked Jake, his voice cracked alittle while wrapping his arms around Allie. "I think she's gonna make it till her birthday but that is it. Im terribly sorry." Said the doctor and walked away. Hilary was crying slowly, Allie was fighting back tears and so was Jake, to them steph was like a little sister and losing her was like losing a very close family member. "I guess this means that is it." Said Hilary. "NO! If this birthday is gonna be the last Steph gets then im gonna make it the best in her entire life!" said Allie, she rubbed her eyes alittle then walked back to Steph and little Ricky. Jake smiled as he saw how Allie handled the situation and Hilary noticed. "You love her dont you?" she asked him. "Of course! I've known her all my life and we've been best friends for years and when she agreed to be my girlfriend, I was never happier." Said Jake. "I wouldnt imagine who wouldnt like her." "Arnt you gonna tell her?" asked Hilary watching Allie tickling Steph and Ricky. "I think ill tell her after the whole Steph dieing thing is over, she would do anything to get over it and I know that it would be hard because Allie loves Steph like a baby sister but I know she'll make it, she is strong." With that Jake walked to Ricky and Steph who were laughing at Allie because she was mocking the trainee nurse. "Hey little man!" said Jake. "Jakey!" the little boy ran over to him. "Whoa! Slow down kiddo! So next month you will be 6! Big number! what does it feel like?" Jake asked. Ricky laughed at Jake alittle then answered. "It's gonna be great because I will beat you at wrestling!" "You will be a professional wrestler when you grow up!" said Jake as Ricky started punching his leg. "So, Stephy! 7 tomorrow! How great is that?" asked Allie. "Fabulous! Im gonna have the best birthday ever! And I know you and Jakey and Hilary will be there and that makes it better!" said Steph smiling. "Is there anything you want for your birthday?" asked Allie. "Umwell first I wanted to buy Barbie in the princess and the pauper but you got me it so I have nothing on my list." Said Steph. Steph walked into the nursery where other kids were and when they saw Allie they ran up and tackled her to the ground. She laughed and pulled the box into the room and gave the kids there toys. Steph walked to the TV and opened it to put the CD in but stopped to look at the screen. "Hey what are you watching?" asked Allie finally free from the little kids. Steph said nothing and just pointed at the screen. "Arnt they just cute?" Allie looked at the screen. They were airing Hannah Montana and it was me and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas episode, when Joe was talking about nobody's perfect being there favorite song and if Miley's father could write a song for them. "Who? The Jonasses?" said Allie. "HEY! Dont call them that!" snapped Steph. "Sorry, so you like the Jonass Bro-I mean the Jonas Brothers?" asked Allie. "Like? I LOVE THEM!" she said jumping up and down. "so who is your favorite?" asked Allie in her mind she was thinking: I bet it's Poodle-head! Everyone likes Poodle-head because of his Poodle-head. "I love Joe!" she said. Allie looked at her. "Why? Dont you like Poodle-I mean Nick?" "No, I like Joe, because he is just like you!" said Steph smiling at her. Great, she thinks im just like pretty boy here thought Allie but smiled. Steph sat to watch the Barbie movie with some girls who joined in and some 4 year old boys who were just bored and waiting for Barney. Hilary burst into the room. "Allie!" she said and Allie walked over to her. "What is it?" she asked. "You will never believe who the people visiting the west kids!" said Hilary panting. "Who? Some silly rich kid?" asked Allie.
